A really great effort on your second preliminary task. Your editing skills are definitely becoming more refined as you work out how best to visually tell the story.
Your sub-genre is evident, mainly because of your choice of title and music.
Nice touch having the voice-over adding to the panic of the moment with the two friends. That worked well.
A pity about the sound quality of the live environment. This would be a note for next time, just the same as you would check for background continuity in shots, make sure whoever is on sound is checking sound quality and continuity of shots. Really tricky for outside shoots but something to plan for next time.
Nice touch adding your effect on the bridge scene. It still could have been more impactful to get that shot from a few different angles so it wasn't just the person climbing over a rail and jumping off. Close-ups and the same shot from different angles (even up until the point of him climbing up) would have added to the suspense. The same goes for the build up. Close up's, tighter shots, quicker cuts all add to the climax of that suspenseful moment. Keep this in mind for your next project.
Overall a well thought-out opening sequence with all the technical elements needed in line with conventions of an opening sequence.
Title and credits work well, too.
