Teacher Feedback: Things that worked well: Nice fades over establishing shots She liked the echo effect of the voices Things that need work: The titles need attention The audio needs to be louder - the voices were hard to hear at times during moments of dialogue The build up to the jump off the bridge needed to be more impactful, and the suspense needs to be built up more (whether it be closer shots or audio changes) Peer Feedback: Things that worked well: Nice establishing shots Nice fades between shots Good actors Music in background was fitting for the video Things that need work: The shots might be too quick The end credits need work (they were too quick)

Essay: The Bourne Identity

THE BOURNE IDENTITY     The Bourne Identity conveys meaning and illustrates messages that are based off the producer's ideologies for the audience to decode through the four elements of representation: Camera, Sound, Editing, and Mise-en-scene.   The beginning of the scene starts off with an extreme wide shot which is used as the establishing shot. It shows the view from the docks and large ships can be viewed in the distance. This is mainly for establishing the location of the scene - near a pier in France - and is the setting for the first part of this scene. Several cuts are made in transitioning where Bourne is walking towards the inner urban area, and these cuts show the brief ellipses of time. There is a constant orchestral music playing in the background  as Bourne walks through the city and heads to the train station.
