For Q1, make sure to talk specifically about conventions / codes of thrillers in gereneral - you can even reference other movies as examples, showing a wide range of things like shadows, the Time of day you shot it - did you shoot in the night like a lot of thriller movies that use the darkness as a convention or did you challenge that and shoot in the daytime? Concealment of villain, using a vulnerable character - narrative and technical conventions and codes.
Q2 , you don't really answer the question about how you would distribute your film as a real media text. You need to show some understanding of the distribution process and talk about what you would do, here.
